I had a great two-night stay at this place with spacious rooms offering beautiful water views in a stunning location by the Gippsland Lakes.

Well-appointed unit with a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge. Comfy bed and large bathroom...

The rooms were reasonably large and huge with ample wardrobe space kept by the helpful staff. A microwave oven, air conditioner, and an iron were standard, but I enjoyed that. Location: the hotel was very close to the town center, the pub, restaurant and shops, and Close to shops.

The views were not so great.

Review of 5 Knots Metung in Metung

Everything was modern and the view was simply magnificent. I loved the comfortable bed in the guest room. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. the location, right next to the city center, was fantastic. Plus, it only took me 15 minutes to get to the bus station! :).

Everything you would ever need was provided. Very clean and comfortable, and close to everything. Keyless entry was fantastic.

If I had to be picky about anything it would be that the bed was not as comfortable as we would have hoped, but again, this is only because we have the Rolls Royce of beds at home.

Location

Room 1: the noise levels from above were atrocious! Noise from the room above travelled down the stairs into room 1 and was quite loud ! We could hear all conversations and could not hear the TV without turning it up louder ! If you are going to have ajoining rooms, soundproof them when they are booked separately ! We cannot comment on hotel staff as there is no reception office onsite and did not see or speak to any staff.

The king room was just right—nicely equipped and had a great bathroom. I appreciated the little touches like having an electric kettle, a fridge, and even an oven available. 👌.

We thought the apartment was very well appointed, comfortable, central to shops etc, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Lovely apartment, clean, had everything we needed, good places to eat neaby, quiet. Towels were terrific along with the leather couch and double shower.

Check in details werent sent and we had to phone for them.

We’re so glad we chose 5 Knots Metung for our stay; we spent three fabulous days there. the rooms were well-kept and a nice size, complete with multi-channel television, a dining area, and a cozy seating area. the bedroom was lovely and offered a relaxing view over the lake.

The place was beautifully attired, we did not want to leave. Everything was well thought out and no expense was spared to make it an enjoyable stay. *However a little chocolate or cheese platter on arrival would have completed the package nicely!

It was all beautiful. Nothing not to like!

A fabulous waterfront location in a clean and well appointed unit. Great position in a warm and friendly neighbourhood. Friendly staff who were responsive to every request.

We were thrilled with the spacious bedroom and the ideal, serene location near charming cafes, picturesque boardwalks, and a nearby pub, with a large mosque just 2 km away.

Close to beach, comfortable, roomy.

The keypad to enter our unit had not been programmed with our pin no. When phoned, staff left us on hold and did not phone back. When we phoned staff again they said they had been busy and gave us the entry code used by staff to get into units. ???????

some kitchen equipment more focussing on design than on functionality (placemats) but really minor minor mishap
